Adam Burke is an occupational therapist and certified hand therapist practicing Moncton, New Brunswick. After completing a Bachelor of Science degree at Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick he completed a Master of Science degree in occupational therapy at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. After graduating in 2006, Adam was employed by Horizon Health Network at The Moncton City Hospital. He worked 4 years in public practice in a variety of setting including: family practice and geriatric medicine, surgical, intensive care and out-patient hand therapy. In 2009, Adam entered private practice by accepting a position as a consultant with CBI Health providing hand rehabilitation services to clients with hand and upper extremity injuries. In 2010, Adam opened Progressive Occupational Therapy & Hand Rehabilitation P.C., a private hand therapy clinic located in Moncton, NB. In 2011, he obtained the designation of Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) from the Hand Therapy Certification Commission in Sacramento, California. Adam currently provides hand therapy services to patients with repetitive strain, traumatic and post-operative conditions affecting the elbow, forearm, wrist and hand.
